Trinity Western University is Canada’s largest Christian university. The main campus is in Langley, just a short drive from Vancouver. Focusing on the liberal arts, sciences and professional studies, TWU emphasizes academic excellence, research and classroom engagement in a vibrant faith community devoted to supporting godly leaders who will serve the world’s deepest needs.

Graduate and undergraduate programs include business administration, nursing, interdisciplinary humanities, computing science, worship arts, leadership, theology, counselling psychology, communications, education, game development, and more. TWU’s adult degree completion program offers a bachelor of arts in leadership for working adults. TWU also offers continuing education, online learning, and leadership development programs. Students acquire the thinking skills, expertise, professional abilities and character qualities essential for today’s global marketplace.

In addition to its Langley campus, TWU offers programs through its Richmond, B.C. campus, the Laurentian Leadership Centre in Ottawa, a campus in Bellingham, Washington, and the Crow’s Nest Ecological Research Centre on B.C.’s Salt Spring Island. As a small university, TWU provides students with opportunities not available at larger institutions, such as working on funded research projects with distinguished faculty members.

Three Canada Research Chairs and grants from CIHR, NSERC, and SSHRC demonstrate TWU faculty’s range of expertise. The Canada Research Chair in Person-Centred Outcomes focuses on the complex healthcare needs and concerns of people struggling with chronic, life-limiting illnesses. CIHR supports research in the development of new eHealth technologies. NSERC supports a variety of investigator led research themes including mathematical modelling of glaciers, fluorine chemistry, bacterial pathogenesis, and cell biology. SSHRC funded projects include themes centred around religion, culture and ethics, as well as globalization and business.
